Sentri Institute in Garden Grove offers experienced fingerprinting services for both Live Scan and Ink Fingerprinting (check for availability). Because this is a 15-minute procedure, we request you make an appointment in order to receive undivided attention. Sentri Institute staff members providing fingerprinting service are specialists, certified to process Live Scan and ink fingerprints.
Live Scan Fingerprinting services at Sentri Institute in Garden Grove are provided by friendly, experienced, confidential and professional staff. We offer the latest Live Scan fingerprinting technology for capturing, processing, and submitting electronic fingerprints.
With Live Scan fingerprinting there is no ink and no mess. We roll your finger over a silicon pad, and your print is digitally recorded into a computer. The computer then encrypts and sends your prints to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Concealed Carry (CCW) Courses
Get the training needed to get your concealed weapons permit today! In this class, you will learn some of the most advanced shooting techniques as well as a in-depth detailed understanding of every aspect of firearms law within the State from firearm penal codes to roles and responsibilities of a responsible concealed carry holder.

- You must have your own weapon before you register for this course
- Note: Taking this course in no way guarantee’s you will receive a CCW. This only takes care of the classroom requirement of the CCW process set forth by the Sheriff’s Departments

Consists of one day training lasting 4 hours. 2 hours in the classroom for refresher and 2 hours at the range for re-qualification.
Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) Courses
Order your certificate right here and get an appointment scheduled to take a test. The FSC is a mandated requirement by the state of California for anyone wishing to purchase a firearm. The certificate is good for 5 years.
